For the past seven years, I've dedicated myself to streaming, emotional method acting, and learning about hypnosis, often performing for zero viewers. I've poured so much of myself into developing different characters, exploring emotions, and discovering who I really am that I've sometimes neglected my own appearance and self-care.
After years of family trauma and living with two mental illnesses, I've been exploring hypnosis as a way to better understand my emotions and develop healthier ways to manage my struggles alongside professional treatment. Emotional method acting has helped me express feelings I couldn't always express around my family.
Seven years of late nights, stress, and dedication have taken a toll on my appearance, confidence, and overall well-being. I've spent so much time working on the person inside that I've sometimes forgotten to take care of the person on the outside.
But there's something much bigger than my struggles driving me forward: my nana's legacy.
My nana dedicated her life to caring for over 300 foster children, giving them love, shelter, and hope when they needed it most. That's the kind of person I want to become.
My family trauma will not ruin my nana's legacy. I refuse to let that happen. Whatever I've been through, I want to turn those experiences into something positive. I'm preparing myself to carry on her legacy, one act of kindness at a time.
