Cosmic Dreams: My Journey of Culture and Creation

I still look around and think of Dorothy not being in Kansas anymore. I moved from California to Florida to marry my amazing husband Chad. Although I was in the Air Force in the early 2000s, it wasn't customary to me in 2024. The culture shock of moving to a 550 person town with the closest Walmart 14 miles away and nothing in-between struck me like lightning. However, very little traffic and bonus, our backyard has a forest treeline and Panama City Beach is one hour away. I was shocked to see parking by the beach. This is unheard of in California where I reserved parking in the redwoods months ahead of time. I started writing under my name Laura Ferguson consciousness kid books at the end of 2023. I was hot off the press of a DOJ job as a Financial Investigator. There I am purple hair, a half Hispanic vegan woman amidst the Bible belt middle of nowhere where Halloween decorations are frowned upon. There's a Marathon gas station that says bibles, bullets and blessings since it also has a gun store.

Culture

I started writing and singing songs early 2024 as Starseed Lø Lø. It combines my love of writing with a purpose and my oldest love, singing. I went to a studio in Rocklin, California in the Sacramento area prior to moving. I quickly found that I could record with a USB mic in our truck while Chad was doing construction jobs and I rode along. It morphed into my office in our house. Now we have a pending studio construction in the dining room. Guess who's building it? That's right. Mr. Ferguson.

To retain or not to retain my culture is the answer. I have songs in Spanish and English. I was born in San Diego, California. My mom is from north of the border in Oregon. While my dad is from south of the border in Baja, México. As a dual citizen it is important for me to represent my culture. Even if it is in an ocean of cotton fields. What's next?

Encuéntrame

Creation

I have released a Spanish single. Encuéntrame, a reggaeton Latin song written and sung by myself featuring Chuk888 with his guitar in Puerto Rico and produced by Charles J. Cliffe in Canada. It's about finding me dreaming of you (my other half). I did a couple of open mic nights and a performance in Atlanta. Encuéntrame has a music video that Chad and I shot in our treeline of our backyard and at Panama City Beach.

Halloween

My second single Dark Knight of The Soul was released on Halloween. Chuk888 and Charles did this one with me as well. The next one is FML set to pre drop mid December with a January 1 release date. The goal is an EP and an album in 2026. Let's see how this plays out. Literally and figuratively.

Total streams for all songs are almost 121k streams with 27k listeners on Spotify. This is not anything I could have ever imagined. Growing up in a Hispanic household performing arts was not encouraged as a female. I'm in the process of screenwriting my first novelette: The Entanglement: Planet X and Mars. It's available as an audiobook narrated by myself on Spotify, Google Play and Apple Books. It was important for me to narrate it as the Author and a music professional. The ebook and book are set for release in 2026. The Entanglement is about parallel lives with a space war in Mars with ETs and in Atlantis on Earth. The action, war scenes and apocalypse will appear amazingly on a motion picture.

The next in the series is about the Orion Wars. That will be a 2026 project as the first one is pitched. I am 43 and living my highest passion for the first time in my life. It's a brilliant

swirl of creation infused with a sprinkle of love and light.
