Wells is a visionary author, actor, and filmmaker whose innovative storytelling has influenced both entertainment and sports media practices, particularly in football cinematography. She earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Arts (Film Production, Acting, and Creative Writing) from Wichita State University and studied European film and culture at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy.
